Introduction Crystal Skulls

Throughout all ages people have been attracted by crystals. They always have supported those who are on their spiritual path. Currently there are many books, ideas and trainings that give incredible amounts of information. Crystals can be seen as the most pure form in which consciousness can manifest itself in physical reality. This means that they are the best tools to awaken, activate and stimulate our awareness. Being aware, being conscious, is of prime importance for our personal spiritual evolution. Crystals can help us to evolve and to transform everything that prevents us from evolving.

What is true for crystals is of course equally true for crystal skulls. However, crystal skulls offer even more. As soon as a crystal skull is carved, certain frequencies that are specific for crystal skulls are added. This happens when the eyes are carved in the rough shape of the crystal skull. The crystal and crystal skull energies create a unique field, that to some degree can be compared to the collective consciousness of mankind. This energy field, the collective crystal skull field, has its own unique characteristics. You can see each skull as a different key to access that field. Of course some “keys” work better than other “keys”. Some “keys” give access to only a part of the field. It is through connecting with this field that we will be able to expand our consciousness. While working with the crystal skulls we also add energy and information to this collective crystal skull field.

Why the shape of the skull?

Crystal skulls have the basic shape of a human skull. This human skull shape is essential to add the energies that characterizes crystal skulls and make them energetically different from any other shape.
The form has nothing to do with a symbol of physical death. The skull contains the brain, the organ through which we express ourselves consciously in this reality. The brain also helps us to translate the received information/energy into a perception, something we can work with.

Crystal skulls are seen as storehouses of information. It is believed that the ancient skulls are downloaded with a lot of ancient information. However, so far only a limited amount of this information has been accessed.

The skull shape reminds us to continue to connect with crystal skulls to develop our ability to access and process the information that is stored in them, either through a crystal skull itself or by using a crystal skull to connect with the crystal skull field.

The skull shape also reminds us that in order to grow spiritually we need to allow the ego to die or to loosen its grip and allow the soul, the higher self take the lead. In a sense the skull is a symbol of rebirth: when the ego dies a new spiritual being will emerge.

Ancient/old and contemporary skulls

Many people value the age of a crystal skull as the most important factor. We do not believe that this is true. Every crystal skull helps us on our journey. We are not yet able to comprehend all aspects of crystal skulls. Therefore we learn from the ancient and older skulls. Those carved in earlier times show us what ancient people have done with them and what is possible. Sitting with ancient crystal skulls like Max, Synergy, Einstein, ShaNaRa and the Mitchell-Hedges skull help us to expand, to heal and connect with information. However, if we want to really understand how to actively work with crystal skulls we have to play and experiment with them. We can only do that with contemporary crystal skulls. They will help to expand our understanding of crystal skulls which may make it possible to access one day all the information the ancient ones offer us.

When a contemporary skull is carved it is like a blank slate. It contains earth information, but no other information has yet been downloaded into it. What information will be downloaded depends on its guardian and on what (s)he does with the skull. Bringing the skull to sacred places, bringing it in contact with other skulls, especially ancient ones, and allowing people to work with them, will awaken its potential and increase the information stored. In this way contemporary crystal skulls become an increasing valuable tool on our path of transformation and evolution.

Ancient crystal skulls are beacons on this journey. They tell us that it is possible to go still further in the process of awakening the potential of our contemporary crystal skulls. The true journey is with contemporary crystal skulls, not the ancient ones. They show a journey that others have made to learn from.

Lemurantis has over 200 contemporary skulls including a few skulls that are older. These older skulls are all smaller skulls, none of them being life size. The crystal skulls we are the guardians of are made of different materials and vary in size from 1 to 9 inches.

We use the crystal skulls in different ways and offer several possibilities to connect with them. For example:
